Woodburne on the Heights of Darby
Woodburne Mansion was designed in 1906 by noted Architect Horace Trumbuer who is said to have "Built not only to Impress but to endure. Although horribly damaged by leaks caused by copper thieves in 2013, Trumbauers 21" stone walls and steel I beam frame still stand proudly.
Roman Architect Marcus Vitruvius Pollo said the three pillars of architecture are Strength (firmatas), Usefulness (utilitas) and Beauty (venustas). The building is both strong and beautiful. Now we are searching for a feasible use or uses using what still exists
